Reofab were contracted to supply pre-fabricated pile cage reinforcing to the 18km four-lane expressway north of Wellington. Some pile cages were 3m in diameter and 35m long requiring crews to fabricate in sections. Pile flares were also a detailing challenging with many varying sized large stirrups.
